I can tell you with all assurity, that preparing ourselves like this was one of the best things that we ever did. Even after our daughter was born, there were still so many things for us to learn, that the I can’t imagine what it would have been like if we didn’t educate ourselves on many other issues before hand.

This is why I strongly encourage anyone who is expecting a baby, to educate themselves as much as possible about what they should expect, especially within the first year. There is a ton of literature out there that can really offer you a ton of sound advice that I guarantee you will pay off in the end. I also highly suggest that you to take advantage of many of the classes being offered to new parents and don’t forget that there is never a such thing as a stupid question.

Just about every guy I know who has become a father like I have, has spoken to me about the feelings of elation that they had when they found out they were expecting.
